Wes is back! I thought the meta-horror was interesting here, and Freddy was a bit less of a comedic caricature than in the previous films. His "new glove" was a bit scarier, breathing a bit of new life into the stale character. And the introduction of children being a driver of Freddy's spirit was fresh (and children in horror films are always frightening). |
