Enjoyably absurd. Started strong then waned on the scare factor a bit. The pacing seemed to jump between a few different horror genres—starting off as a boogeyman-horror, then moving into a slasher/stalker, before ending as straight up action horror. It kept me guessing through most of it and looking back had signals to get close enough to "solving" it. Very enjoyable if you can release expectations and let the movie ride through its own absurdity. |
