Lol, this movie is so fantastic. The acting, the set design, the writing, the singing.. it all comes together to tell this absurdly funny story.

I had seen this when I was younger and remember it as funny, but not too much more that that. Now, as a full-blown adult I can confidently say this movie was fantastic.

The set design was on-point and, while clearly not trying to hide its stage-play adaptation on a sound stage, it was dirty and grungy as one would imagine "down on skid row." The writing, too, was fantastic. So many unassuming one liners that make you feel good for catching them.

Rick Moranis as Seymore and Ellen Greene as Audrey drive the performances with excellence, with Steve Martin's over-the-top portrayal of Orin Scrivello D.D.S. is a welcomed addition.

What I revere about this most is the practical effects around Audry II. The direction combined with the practical animatronics and really make Audry II come alive so spectacularly (with, of course, Levi Stubb's incredible voice acting).

Big fan of this movie; will probably watch it again soon.

Thanks for stoping by! ;)
