A surprisingly nice follow up. I wasn't expecting all that much with this one and was quite surprised. I wasn't a huge fan of the story itself here, but the way 'shining' lives on was interesting and fit well in the world built by Kubrick's movie. What really kept me engaged was the acting. Abs (Curran) was great and kept me rooting for her and McGregor really hit it out of the park. |
