This movie gets a bad wrap, and is actually a fun, goofy horror comedy. Coming hot off of "Super Troppers" Broken Lizard gave a decent stab (pun intended) at this genre-splicing movie. Is it half as good as Super Troopers? No. Is it original? No. But, is it entertaining? Yea, I think so. Off the bat you can see what we're in for with Jay Chandrasekhar god awful portrayal of the British(?) staff tennis instructor. If you can see that the director himself is not taking it too seriously, then I think you can move through the movie without trying to take it too seriously, as well. Anyway, there's good laughs, on-par suspense, and good performances from Brittany Daniel and Bill Paxton, then I think you'll get some laughs from it as well. |
