This one was a bit of a weird one. I did appreciate the change in the story a bit--it felt less derivative of the previous movies. And I thought Lisa Wilcox's performance was much better than in part four. The ending was interesting, and clearly where all the effect budget has been going for these movies. The baby Freddy was ridiculous, though. Probably a bit skippable of a movie, unless Alice is continuing to return. |
